Tiddlywinks opened on Tuesday 6th August 2008. But it's creators Jill and Trevor have been teaching dancing from their custom built dance studio since 1997. Opening 5 nights a week for Adults dancing lessons and Saturday mornings for kids dance classes, business was booming.

With 7 grandchildren, Jill and Trevor were interested in providing more activities. When visiting indoor play centers with their grandparents, the kids expressed that after playing for a short time they were bored. So after researching and visiting indoor play centers in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, Tiddlywinks was thought of.

It was decided that combining their knowledge of dancing with an indoor play area would be something children of all ages could enjoy.

"Children theses days are missing out on important socializing with their peers" explains Jill. "Computer games and mobile phones have taken away face to face contact that helps children relate to other people".

Tiddlywinks is helping to bring together families from all cultures and giving every one a chance to let their hair down and have fun in a safe and wholesome environment.

With the help of their daughter Karen and son Colin, the family business is now open in a custom built Castle themed venue 5 nights and 6 days a week.
